Return & Refund Policy
We want your MoonSpoon™ experience to feel simple, thoughtful, and cared for from the moment it arrives. We also believe a return should still do some good in the world.
Cancellations
Any unshipped order can be cancelled for a full refund. Just email hello@moonsleep.co and we’ll take care of it for you.
Issue With Your Order?
If your MoonSpoon™ arrives less than perfect, we’ll take care of it for you. Just email hello@moonsleep.co and we’ll help make it right.
Returns
You have 30 days from the day your MoonSpoon™ is delivered to request a return. Ordered October 13 through October 31, 2026? You have 60 days.
Still sealed? Send it back on our prepaid return label. Once requested, your package must be postmarked within 14 days.
Opened or slept on? Opened pillows can't come back to us, but you can still get a refund, minus the original shipping and card processing fees, through our donation program.
To Be Eligible, Your Item Should Be:
- Return requested within 30 days of delivery (60 days for orders placed October 13 through October 31, 2026)
- Sealed items: still in their original packaging, and postmarked within 14 days of your request
- Opened MoonSpoon™ pillows: refunded through our donation program, never sent back
- Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase
Not Eligible For Return:
- Extra Fill Packs (final sale once shipped)
- Extra covers (final sale)
- Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii or outside the United States (final sale once shipped)
How To Start A Return
- Email hello@moonsleep.co with your order number to request a return within 30 days of delivery, and tell us whether it's still sealed.
- For a sealed item, we’ll send a prepaid return label and instructions for how and where to send your package. The actual cost of that label is deducted from your refund.
- Please wait for approval before sending anything back. Items returned without approval may not be accepted. Your package must be postmarked within 14 days of your request.
- Once your sealed return reaches us, or your donation is complete, we’ll let you know your refund status.
Refunds
If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Once your order has shipped, we keep $36 of the refund to cover the original shipping and card processing. When you send an item back, we also deduct the actual cost of the prepaid return label. Orders cancelled before they ship are refunded in full. If we explicitly promise you a better refund, we honor that promise.
Covers
The cover that comes with your MoonSpoon™ can come back if it's still sealed in its packaging.
Extra covers bought on their own are final sale: they can't be returned or exchanged.
Extra Fill Packs
Extra Fill Packs are final sale once shipped and cannot be returned or exchanged. If you'd like to cancel before it ships, email hello@moonsleep.co and we'll refund it.
International Orders
Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii or outside the United States are final sale once shipped. If your MoonSpoon™ arrives damaged or incorrect, email hello@moonsleep.co and we’ll make it right.
Shipping Address
Please double-check your shipping address before you complete checkout, and keep it current if you move. We ship to the address on your order.
If your package is shipped to an incorrect, outdated, or incomplete address you provided — including an old address after a move — we cannot send a replacement or additional package free of charge. If we confirmed an address correction before shipment but failed to apply it, contact us so we can put it right.
If you need to change an address, email hello@moonsleep.co as soon as possible. We will confirm whether we can update it before shipment. Address changes may no longer be possible once your package is being prepared or is with the carrier.
A second life, never a resale
We never resell a used MoonSpoon™, and an opened one never comes back to us. Our donation program gives it a second life with someone who needs it, instead of a landfill.
